Photos of the Day: Old Town Square (Staromestske Namesti)
Old Town Square - the only place in Prague that fascinates me every single time I see. Despite my two years in Prague, I automatically become "tourist" again and I've probably have taken hundreds oh photos here throughout the seasons. Much has been said and written about this square. It hosts whatever event is happening in Prague; international marathon finish line, Christmas markets, football fan zone with giant screens, demonstrations, celebrations, performances of street musicians, etc. Medieval Royal Road also passes through the square. Worth to see here are the clock tower with astronomical clocks, Tyn Church, Rokoko palace, Salvador Dali exhibition, St.Nicholas Church, Jan Hus monument and the row of colorful art nouveau houses. And the best view of the square is from the top of the clock tower!
