Photo of the Day: Make a wish in Prague

DSC02929, originally uploaded by aibek_dunaev.

On the famous Charles Bridge of Prague there's a place where you can make a wish, and it says your wish will come true. It's below the statue of St.John of Nepomuk (if you are coming from Old Town Square direction, then it is the 8th statue on the right side). Not sure about the wish part, but it does attract a lot of tourist attention and adds up to the popularity of the bridge.
If you want to make your wish anyway, then note that you should touch the falling priest on the plaque. It also ensures that you'll come to Prague again (we are living in the age of planes! hellooooo?!!). However, don’t get confused by the shiny dog and woman (the Queen)! Not everybody knows the legend and therefore is not sure what to touch. It became shiny only by chance. It doesn’t mean anything special.
But(!) according to some people, that's still not the place where you should make a wish! The actual place is located meters away from there on the same side. There is a small golden cross marking the spot where St.John of Nepomuk's body was thrown into the Vltava river.
