Czechs lead Europe in divorces

What gets attention of any visitor to Prague is the number of people that go to the churches. So many of them, the churches, but very rarely full with people. Lack of religion brings with itself less conservatism, PDA (public display of affection) is the another example of it here. Another affected issue is a family in this case. When Irena Kalinová got married for the first time, in 1994, she was only 20 years old. Four years later, she got divorced in a mere 10 minutes.
It's a typical story in the Czech Republic, which boasts Europe's highest divorce rate, according to new numbers from Eurostat, the European Union's statistical office. Nearly half of all Czech marriages end in divorce.
