Angels and Demons

"Angels & Demons" is a third book by Dan Brown that I have read. Only "Deception point" is left. Well, it is far below the level of Da Vinci Code, yet I enjoyed it. Same style; highly intellectual story which brings another example of the fight between the Church and the secret brotherhoods, this time scientists - the Illuminati. I should admit that there is a big rising interest in me towards the arts of famous artists or scientists like Leonardo da Vinci, Galileo, Bernini, etc. after reading his books, as well as for religious history, Egyptian symbology, secret brotherhoods.

Also, ambigrams were designed pretty cool. I am wondering if it will be possible to draw other words like it was for Earth, Fire, Air, and Water. Maybe need to look for some tutorials about this specific art.

Another thing in my check list;
- Trip to Rome, and to complete the Illuminati Path (it starts at the statue of Habakkuk and the Angel in the Chigi Chapel, then goes to West Ponente at St. Peter's Square, the next point is The Ecstasy of St. Teresa statue inside Church of Santa Maria della Vittoria, then it is Piazza Navona with Bernini's Fountain, and it ends at Castle St. Angelo) mentioned in the book by foot. And get "illuminated" ;).

Also, I like the way the author adds poems in his stories as an intellectual hint and challenge to find the quest. The one in "Angels & Demons";

From Santi's earthly tomb with demon's hole,
'Cross Rome the mystic elements unfold.
The path of light is laid, the sacred test,
Let angels guide you on your lofty quest.

And yet, my favourite one is the poem from "Da Vinci Code", it is thrilling;

"The Holy Grail 'neath ancient Roslin waits.
The blade and chalice guarding o'er her gates.
Adnorned in masters' loving art, she lies.
She rests at last beneath the starry skies."
