Traineeships in India

India is one of the most active countries in AIESEC's exchange program. There are plenty of opportunities to go for a traineeship there. As my SN officer Ismail of AIESEC Turkey told me once: "Don't worry about not matching for a traineeship. The worst case you will go to India, they accept anyone." :))) Well, that may be true. If you are chasing a different country with colorful life, then India is a great option, such a colorful lifestyle and nature, country of Love as some people in Central Asia say. Being a computer engineer, what is important for me is that India has been emerging as the great potential software industry centre as well. Thus, great opportunities to witness this process as well as work in one of those companies, cyber parks, etc. India was my alternative choice for AIESEC traineeship. Nowadays, many companies opened their doors for traineeships, so if you are the one looking for a traineeship then check this link below (I am sure you can find similar info in other AIESEC country web pages):

p.s. AIESEC in Singapore and Triin should give me some credits for this post :D

My stewardess

was just another summer day
I just stepped on the plane
then i saw the eyes
full of light
which burn the fire inside
you smiled at me
i couldn't resist...

why your words sound so sweet
and makes me long for you
but your white plane
takes you back again...

...white white plane
is taking us to sea
will wait to meet you again
I don't need wine tonight
Happy coz of my stewardess...

it is so easy for us
to understand each other
believe me, i dont wanna lose
what I feel
but the doors are open
and the bridge is there
after 5 minutes
we have to say goodbye
but light of hope
will stay forever with me
and your white plane
takes you back again...

"Hi" from Ankara

Best greetings from Ankara! Tomorrow is the day, so wish me luck people.
(It's cold here fter a year-long stay in (sub)tropical climate.)

the stranger, da vinci code and "the box" (continued)

...Dubai. Early morning. Airport. Despite the early time, still crowded. Some people are just sleeping on the floor, probably waiting for their early plane. Beautiful writings in Arabic alphabet around says that the stranger was on the land of Sheikhs, on the land of Meccah, on the land were sun and sand meet at the horizont. There were no "box", but only "the code". An it was written "Transit" on his temporary ticket...
...5 hours later. Istanbul. People waiting for the passengers of just arrived flight SQ490. And here it is; the stranger, the code and "the box". As he was approaching the immigration point, he was uncertain and struggling inside "Should I...?". He came to the officer and was just to say "Ermmm, I have a ...", but was cut by the officer's "Sen gec (You can go)"... "Hmm, but I..., hmm, well, ok!", and he headed towards the door. Outside it was raining and cold.
...Ankara. He looked very tired, for sure it was a very tiring journey. But he was full of hope. As he saw him coming, he greeted him in a friendly way. Finally, he completed what he promised, he brought "the box" for him. As they reached the place, they opened "it", and it was there! It looked great, it definitely said everything about its history and its owners...

Taipei -> Singapore -> Istanbul (and back)

I am leaving to Istanbul after 1-year long stay in South East Asia. This time only for 2.5 weeks. I am leaving to conclude my studies in Middle East Technical University in Ankara and get my degree by the end of this month. So it is kind of journey to te new beginning for me, like knocking the next door of the life. As it is very expensive to travl from Taiwan to other countries and there's no direct flights to Turkey, I could only get a ticket from SIA (Singapore Airlines) and need to take transit flight Taipei-Singapore-Istanbul. As being one of the most expensive (and best in service) airlines, the tickets cost me a lot (makes you feel ouch!). On the other side, I know that it will be really fun to travel with SIA. And the fact that I will meet many of my friends after 1 year again makes me feel excited. So wish me luck people, and big "NO" for Murphy's Law.

the stranger, da vinci code and "the box"

... Taiwan. it was always midnight. He got out of the bus at CKS airport in Taipei (Taiwan), and slowly entered almost empty airport lounge. As he approached departure lounge, he saw only few people around; a woman sleeping on the bench with her bags, two young guys talking and having a late dinner and few security guards around. The stranger was carrying a big backpack, smaller handbag and "the box". It was accurately wrapped with scotch band around, it was not an ordinary square box, but more like a long container. Few chinese characters definitely could tell something more about it. He carefully put them down. He sat quietly for a while looking at the box and at the da vinci code he had. Then he decided to take a nap, still there were few hours for him to rest...
... Singapore. Singapore airlines Boeing 777 landed at Changhi airport. As the passengers were rushing towards the immigration point, there was someone who didn't seem like rushing at all. Instead, he was investigating the surroundings carefully. Then he decided to make a phone call, it seems like he knew somebody here. The phone ringed for a while and then the voice message service activated. He thought for a while if to leave a message or not, and just before the beep sound he put the phone down. He knew what to do next. He had the da vinci code with him, but there was no sign of the box. It was in the safe place. After looking at the departure flights screen for a while, he headed towards the entrance and disappeared in the crowd...
